Laura Kinker has been photographing architecture, cityscapes and landscapes for over 20 years. She developed a passion for photography in college and has continued to nurture it throughout the years.

She strives to capture beauty in the every day. She's able to find unique perspectives that showcase the details while highlighting the often unnoticed beauty and dynamic energy of the subject. Most of her photographs are spontaneous which heightens the sense of being in the moment.

As a resident of Evanston, Illinois, just outside of Chicago, she particularly loves urban landscapes. She is also drawn to nature and flowers, in particular. She finds something magical about the flowers and trees coming back to life after a long dreary midwest winter.
