Welcome.
You may think that I sit around all day obsessing over how to cut the crap out of my life but that's simply not true. But one thing I do obsess about is getting organized. And I will do almost anything to accomplish this.
This year I went as far as to design a monthly/weekly calendar that would help make my life easier. I've been searching for one that has great big spaces to write down events - I'm very visual, I can't get used to doing everything on my iphone - and has a "to do" list on every page. Couldn't find one so I decided to make one. And that's how I came up with my 2012 Chicago Monthly/Weekly calendar.
It's 136 full color 8 1/2" x 11" pages of calendar goodness with my photography floating in the background with a "to do" list on each and every spread. Which means you will get a "to do" list for each month and each week.
There are some things you only want/need to accomplish during the month (like scheduling that damn dentist appointment) and don't need to be writing it down for each and every week. But then there are things you need to do that specific week (like pick you your dry cleaning) and that's the kind of thing the weekly "to do" lists can do for you.
It's coil bound which means it will lay nice and flat when open (or closed). I keep mine open at all times on my desk so I can see at a moment's notice what's going on for the day.
Here are a couple shots of what the inside pages look like. Keep in mind that each spread is two pages and the coil binding will be in the middle (although not shown in these images). You can also see how I incorporate the photos into the background.

Here's also a shot of the back back cover of the calendar which shows you all the images that are included - one per month.

So now that I've gone through all the trouble of designing this calendar I thought why not sell it. I know I'm coming a little late to the game - I've seen calendars in stores since July - but thought, hell, why not.

CURRENT PROJECTS
At the moment I'm working on a couple photography books. One's a collection of my more artistic photos and the other is focused on Chicago. I hope to have them both published by fall 2012.
I'm also writing a new novel that I hope to finish in spring of 2012.
THE FANTASTIC GIRLS CLUB
The Fantastic Girls Club is coming back in January 2012. I am working on revamping the whole group and will be giving you more details as I get it all together. But a sneak peek is that it will be more creative focused (helping you to expand your creativity) and will involve play dates and book groups.
PERSONAL PHOTOS
The personal photos are back by popular demand. I will strive to keep up with them as best as I can. As you can imagine, it's a huge project everytime I take pictures. There's always so much to do to get them prepped for the website. But I want to share them with you so stay on the lookout for that.
