Personal Photos.

Today I wandered through the Chicago neighborhood of Pilsen to take photos with my class. I was a little reluctant to go at first but was pleasantly surprised at how much I ended up loving this neighborhood. It's a working class area, mostly hispanic now but originially more German. And at some point the city of Chicago raised their streets to accommodate the sewer system however a lot of houses in this area couldn't afford to raise their homes. So now when you walk through the neighborhood, some of the houses are still sunk (along with their backyards) about five feet. It's very interesting. I was simply enchanted by this area.
