Kurt and I cruised into Michigan to take in the multiple vineyards and do a little wine tasting. I love driving through all the vineyards. You could really smell all the concord grapes. We visited at least five or six wineries. We had so much fun. On the way back we stopped off at the casino in New Buffalo for a little gambling (we didn't win anything) and a little dinner. We capped it off with a stop by Buckingham Fountain on the way back home (after a torrential down pour). What a great day!!

The Round Barn Winery was the last one on our little tour and where I took most of the pics. Not sure why I neglected the other places but oh well. Guess I will need to go back!

I love this look.

Chocolates that we couldn't resist.

You can see the storms in the west. We later drove right into them but luckily the rain held off until we hit the south side of Chicago.

The chocolates gift wrapped.

Buckingham Fountain after the storms.

This wasn't technically taken today (but the day after) but showcases all the wine we bought on our little outing: 11 bottles and one 12 pack of cocoa stout brewed at the Round Barn Winery. We have lots of drinking to do!
